Free Spirited Brides by Anupama Dayal

Apupama Dayal unfolds three free spirited brides, ( Sangeet look) at Chi the Spa, Shangrila New Delhi. Celebrating the youthfulness and flamboyancy in a young bride, she makes use of bright, vibrant colors, extra drapes, using tassels and embroidery in her new edit. She once again uniquely plays in her forte from creating the textile to embellishing it with unexampled traditional accessories for adorning a young bride.

About the Collection-

The free spirited brides mirror Anupama’s fun and off-the-cuff philosophy. Her inclination has always centered on the Indian regalia. The brides looked splendid in their accoutrements. The accessories were a favorite. The tassel earrings with bold golden and yellow colors, delivered much to the theme. With a relative simplicity contrasting the rich color, texture and embroidery, each outfit stood out to speak its own uniqueness.

The palate is full of colors

Fresh flowers replacing bracelets gave a very basic and splendid look at the same time. The hair too had single flowers spaced out on the buns, giving it a fairy-tale look instead of using bunches clutched together which was a novel idea.  The look was ostentatious yet controlled and delicate. It had all the charms from the designer for the new age brides, breaking the stereotype and showcasing the new subtle elegance.

Unexampled yet traditional
